2023 has been a busy year for me:
- My Telegram channel, Lifelong MOOCs, grew from 250 to 2,700+ subscribers.
- The subscriber count for my newsletter, Hypertextual, crossed the 200 mark. Please subscribe, I have big plans for it this year.
- Created 12 science videos on topics from fungi to flu.
- Wrote a lot for Meduza and started contributing to Novaya Gazeta and the Kit newsletter.
- Developed a mini-project on English Heritage sites, combining my observations with AI-generated images.
- Taught a course on science content creation at ITMO University’s master’s program.
- Read 31 books, with Wendell Berry’s “Think Little” standing out as the best.
- Attended seven concerts, including Benjamin Clementine at the Royal Albert Hall.
- Enjoyed 15 plays and musicals, with Accidental Death of an Anarchist, Best of Enemies, and Witness for the Prosecution being my favourites.
- Visited 30 cities in two countries, focusing on reducing my carbon footprint with just two flights and 20 trains.
